Background

  • Born in Heyward, California in 1959.
  • Graduated DePue High School 1978.
  • Graduated Western Illinois University 1983.  I have a degree in Education with a Major in History and a Minor in Political Science.
  • Graduated Illinois State University 1992 with a master's degree in Education Administration and Foundations.

Teaching Experience:

  • 1984 - 1988  Central Catholic High School, Bloomington, Illinois.
  • 1988 - 1990  Forman High School, Manito, Illinois.
  • 1990 - 1994  Fisher High School, Fisher, Illinois.

Administrative Experience:

  • 1994 - 1997  Georgetowne Middle School, Marquette Heights, Illinois.  I served as assistant principal and  athletic director.
  • 1997 - 1999  Lincoln Community High School, Lincoln, Illinois.  I served as assistant principal in charge of discipline and attendance.
  • 1999 - 2004  Ridgeview Jr/Sr High School, Colfax, Illinois.  I served as assistant principal and athletic director.
  • 2004 - Present  Ridgeview Jr/Sr High School, Colfax, Illinois.  I am currently serving as principal of the Jr/Sr High School.

Jr/Sr High School Principal

I am currently beginning my second year as principal.  I am lucky to be working with a staff that has a wealth of knowledge and experience.  My goal as principal, is to continue supporting the staff in their bid to keep Ridgeview a top notch school.  We have a lot to be proud of at Ridgeview Jr/Sr High School.  From our academic programs to our extra-curricular programs, our teachers and coaches spend a tremendous amount of time making sure our students receive the best education possible.
