STUDENTS LOVE ISAT WEEK

It sounds hard to believe, but we had a blast during ISAT week! Attendance was better than it had been in weeks and the students did an outstanding job. They put forth their best effort and were rewarded with a carnival on Friday. The hit of the party was the gigantic, inflatable obstacle course. Other attractions included an inflatable bounce house, C-Motion, bean bags, cup-stacking, popcorn and juice pops. The students are already excited about next year’s ISAT testing. The teachers can wait!

MISS WATTERSON’S NOTES

Moving on to the Pillar of Trustworthiness has opened up a wide range of topics! In kindergarten we have talked about strangers and who we can trust. The upper grades have discussed how to be a trustworthy friend and person, and we have also focused on the “steps” of trustworthiness. We talked about how we can all move up and down the “steps” of trustworthiness and what the benefits are of being at the top of the steps with trust. Holding your kids accountable to the truth will help them grow and develop into reliable and confident people. Have a safe and warm Spring Break!
