Scholastic Rep, Mrs. Olson, came to visit first grade in the library and read aloud her big flipbook, Pig the Fibber and Thelma the Unicorn! The kids had fun reading them throughout the day!
Mr. Jamerson's class (5th grade) Skyped with author Lindsay Currie who wrote the book The Peculiar Incident on Shady Street.
Mrs. Helmig's room (Kindergarten) had a special read aloud guest.
Students in Mrs. Borton's class heard the book The Dark, by Robert Munch and then wrote about how to get rid of the dark.
More students in Mrs. Borton's class heard the book Purple, Green, and Yellow by Robert Munsch, then used markers to draw on their paper self.
