Attention Ridgeview Parents/Guardians:
If you or someone you know in the school district has recently had a newborn baby, please contact the school today! The Ridgeview School District would like to welcome newborn children to the district with a book, and pamphlets for the parents on how to raise a reader. Our goal is to promote literacy and a love for books by reading to children at an early age. Thank you!
We hope everyone has a great school year!
Keep reading and writing every moment you can!
Our teachers were working hard on 8/9/18 to learn new ideas, talk with their colleagues, and sift through data!
When I Grow Up
When I grow up, I think that I
may pilot rockets through the sky,
grow orchards full of apple trees,
or find a way to cure a disease.
Perhaps I'll run for president,
design a robot, or invent
unique computerized machines
or miniature submarines.
When I grow up, I'd like to be
the captain of a ship at sea,
an architect, a clown or cook,
the writer of a famous book.
I just might be the one to teach
a chimpanzee the art of speech...
but what I'll really be, I'll bet
I've not begun to think of yet.

A Moment in Summer
A moment in summer
belongs to me
and one particular
A moment in summer
making the sky
seem very near,
a moment in summer
belongs to me.
