Congratulations to Coach Kellar and the High School Boys Basketball Team for their 3rd place finish at IHSA 1A State Finals on Saturday. After a devastating lost on Friday to Brimfield, the boys rallied to defeat Forreston on Saturday.
Also making a State appearance - Junior High wrestler, Billy Tay earned the title of IESA State Champion! Billy owned the mat only allowing 2 points be scored on him and was crowned Champion winning the final match 12-0.
The boys head to Carver Arena/Peoria Civic Center this Friday and Saturday!
Tickets are on sale now in the High School Office until 7:30pm tonight and tomorrow morning 7:30 -8:30 am.
The Ridgeview Athletic Boosters will be selling Final Four t-shirts beginning Thursday at 7:00 pm in the concession stand. They will be gray with navy print. We are only selling t-shirts at this time. Once the season is over, a final design will be created with all accomplishments on the back and our final finish at state and people will be able to order the size and color they want as well as sweatshirts and long sleeved shirts. However, in order to get them in time for Peoria we are only selling t-shirts at this time. Cost will depend on size purchased but will range from $12 - $18. There will be some youth large sizes but the rest will be adult sizes only. Thank you.

Congratulations to the High School Boys Basketball team for defeating Milford Friday night claiming the Sectional Championship. Coach Kellar and the boys are heading to Super Sectionals Tuesday night at ISU!
Tickets will be on sale TODAY from 3-5 pm, Monday morning at 7:30am - 6 pm and Tuesday morning from 7:30 - 10:30 am in the HS office.
Game time: Tuesday, March 10 7 pm @ ISU vs. Flanagan. $8 General admission.

FFA members at Ridgeview High School put together many great activities to celebrate National FFA Week. Monday was "Ag Career" Dress up day and the students prepared lunch for the entire staff! On Wednesday, the FFA members provided a pizza lunch to all 8th grade students and discussed FFA and Agriculture classes. The petting zoo took over the ag room on Thursday with chicks, chickens, a duck, goats, a puppy, a dog, a cow and calf, and piglets. The finale on Friday included an assembly with many friendly competitions including chick races, teachers vs. students basketball game and the winner of the "kiss the pig contest", Mr. Kennedy!
