Makayla Kindred tied for 1st in HOIC match (lost in a playoff), placed 2nd in the GCMS Regional, placed 7th in the Rochester Sectional, and placed 28th in the Girls IHSA State golf tournament. Annah Lopshire went above and beyond in her contributions to this Fall's play. As quoted by Mr. Wyant, "She was just an "extra" for the play, but she came to every single practice anyway and always volunteered to read parts for people who weren't there. She also did a lot with stage crew stuff, again, which she didn't have to do. She really went above and beyond even though she didn't really get the appreciation she deserved from her fellow cast members for doing all that extra work." Congratulations to the 8th grade girls basketball team for winning the SVC Championship last night by beating Corpus Christi. Good Luck to the 7th grade girls as they begin Regional play tomorrow.
Junior High students participate in a half-court shootout as part of the JH Student Council fundraiser for the family of Lora Lovings. Thanks Mr. Kennedy and Mr. Ghere for helping! The fundraiser continues through Monday! Let's continue to show some love for Lora Love for Lora
As many of you know, Lora Lovings is facing some challenging times. Her husband Rob is battling cancer. Lora has maintained her smiling face in our cafeteria despite these troubles. With the holiday season coming up, let's band together and make a difference for Lora and her family. From now through Tuesday, November 24, Junior High Student Council will collect change before school and during lunch. Each grade will compete! The grade which collects the most money will win a movie afternoon in December. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. So search the bottom of your backpack and collect some change from the dryer and let's show some love for Lora. |
