First Day of School: August 18 !
Long time employee, Vicki Gamble, Special Education Teacher, retired this year. In a letter she states" Twenty-one years ago, I entered the door of my classroom in a trailer parked on the playground. In all honesty, I thought this position was going to be a temporary one (I think they called the trailer a 'temporary classroom' back then). Along the way, I worked with some amazing teachers, support staff and administrators. Through good times and challenging times, I was proud to work in the school district."
Congratulations Vicki! You will be missed.
Lorna Winn, wife of the late Bill Winn who was Ridgeview's first High School Principal (1989-when we consolidated). He was here until 1998. Ridgeview planted and dedicated a tree with a plaque honoring Bill Winn, who passed away last year. The tree is visible from the high school office where he worked. He was much loved!
