In December we were blessed to have six former Ridgeview students return to school to talk to our current students about their experiences in college, the work force, and the military. It was great to hear about all the wonderful things these students have accomplished since graduating from Ridgeview. We hope that listening to their stories will help inspire more of our students to keep striving towards their college and career goals. Thanks to Josh, Paige, Taylor, Arden, Wes, and Adam for taking time out of your busy lives to speak with our students!
These 7 students took time out of their day to help with the Annual Food Drive distribution day. Thank you to: Katelin, Mitch, Journey, Kelly, Jacob, River, and Lexie for helping on 12-15-16. YOU made a difference!!

Last night, the Fall Play cast welcomed residents from Aperion Care to watch the final dress rehearsal of this year's show, Million Dollar Meatballs. The actors appreciated having a small audience for the last practice and they are excited for the final performances! Shows are tonight and Saturdayat 7:00 pm and admission is $5. The cast can't wait to see you there
On Thursday during the mentoring class period we hosted a “financial speaker series” for all of our junior and senior high students. Students were able to pick from sessions on topics such as: insurance, checking/savings accounts, careers in banking, budgeting your money, and credit score/applying for a loan. We were blessed to have speakers from the People’s State Bank of Colfax, Mid-Illini Credit Union, and Miller Insurance Agency donate their time and expertise to our students. Thank you to all these community members for sharing this important information with us!
