Shelby Enghausen/Clara, nominated by Mrs. Lovvit, is the sweetest young woman who tries hard in all that she does. She has a beautiful spirit and is kind and thoughtful. I often find that she goes the extra mile in every assignment she does. It is very reassuring to have a student like her.
Shelby Enghausen was also nominated by Mr. Ruiz. Shelby has taken upon the role of being the only H.S. scholastic bowl manager this year. She has already helped me greatly during practice by keeping track of stats and scores. She will also be helping out with matches, which will allow me to see how the JV team is doing if I am with the Varsity. Her effort in helping me never goes unnoticed and I am extremely grateful for her help. Juan Rios-Narciso was nominated by Mr. Snell. Juan, single-handedly, organized and created the senior journal brooklet. It is not uncommon for Juan to go above and beyond expectation in the classroom or the basketball court. Juan is great student with real Ridgeview character and spirit. The November Student and Teacher of the month awards were given today. A big thank you to Ric Flair for hosting this monthly event.
Olivia Sandage Nominated by Mrs. Taylor. Olivia has worked really hard to improve her math skills this year. She has come in to get help when she is having trouble. She is super nice to all of the 6th graders. Keep up the good work Olivia!!! Ashanti Requena Nominated by Mrs. Schultz and Mrs. Jones. Mrs. Schultz says Ashanti is such a pleasure to have in class. She is hardworking and dedicated to her school work. She studies hard and takes class seriously. She is organized and thoughtful. She will go out of her way to make someone else smile. She will occasionally leave me a thoughtful note or treat on my desk. On numerous occasions she has made snacks for her whole class out of the kindness of her heart. There should be more Ashanti’s in the world. Mrs. Jones says I am nominating Ashanti Requena for Student of the Month. Ashanti is very helpful to everyone and always tries to help if someone is not having a good day. One day she printed off inspirational sayings for each student in our English class. Each saying was different based on the person. We secretly put them on the desks so it was the first thing the student saw when they arrived for class. It was a great way to boost her classmates self esteem and so nice of her to think of everyone. Darius YocumNominated by Mrs. Weber. Darius is adjusting to his move to Ridgeview. He is becoming an intricate part of the 7th grade class. He is participating in class and working diligently to be prepared each day. Teacher of the month, Mrs. Cichecki, was nominated for many reasons, including: Helping with math, being nice, caring, encouraging, funny & kinda sassy, too. |
