The 6th annual Ridgeview High School blood drive will be held on March 18th, 2015. Sponsored by the Ridgeview Student Council and National Honor Society it will be held from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the High School Gym. This year the blood drive is in honor of local student Korey Cooper, who was in a life-threatening car accident last fall, and Ron Christ (Mrs. Schultz father), who is currently undergoing treatment for multiple health issues. You may ask “Why should I give blood”? There are many reasons some of which include savings lives, helping making sure blood is there when it is needed, it is easy and convenient and best of all it is the right thing to do. If you want to donate blood you can sign up at www.redcross.org or talk to any Ridgeview Student. We are asking you to sign up by Wed, March 11th to ensure adequate staffing at the drive. Our goal this year is to raise 85 units. We will need around 100 appointments to achieve our goal. Walk-ins are welcome, too! FREE childcare!
