Addie Ramirez was the female lead in the spring musical. She was certainly the most emotionally invested, and went beyond the scope of a typical actor in any show. She assisted greatly with costuming, makeup, and most importantly, organized all of the dance choreography for the entire production. She also assisted in the construction of the large man-eating plants - adding paint detail, floral decorations, and assembling the interior of the puppets.
Shelby Enghausen was the student leader of the Spring musical's crew. She constructed 2 of the 4 puppets almost completely independently, and contributed a great deal to the construction of the 2 large puppets, which were assembled off campus, with detail work. She also operated one small puppet and one large puppet during the production, and ran the light board for half of the show. Her emotional investment in the tech aspect of this show was just as high if not greater than most of the actors. Both students were nominated by Mr. Marchese. Comments are closed.
