![]() What's your favorite candy? Chocolate covered raisins specifically, dark chocolate. I always sneak them in with me at the movie. They are absolutely delicious. Every once in awhile, my mom still sends me little care packages with them. She's a gem. If you weren't a teacher, what would you be? If I weren't a teacher, I would definitely be a travel writer. All my students listen to my narratives about how much happiness travelling brings me, so it would be a dream to get paid to go on those adventures. I really enjoy writing about my experiences abroad, and the weirder they are the better: like that time I ate guinea pig in Peru.... What's your teacher's pet? He still lives with my parents (until I puppy-nap him), but I have a dog named Moose. He is a pug/beagle/shar pei mix, and he has more personality than any other dog I've ever met. He gives hugs, pretends to snore, and always runs over to stop people when they are horsing around because Moose hates fighting. I may like Moose more than my brother. What was your first job? In high school I was a cashier at a Sears. It was pretty fun job, minus the people who would try to barter (Me: Your total is $10.99. Customer: I'll give you $5.99. Me:...That's not how this works...) Alos, it gave me a great appreciation for those who work on Black Friday - the shoppers are insane. Who is your celebrity crush? I have a giant crush on Sam Hunt. He's a good-looking guy, but more importantly he's incredibly smart. The way he crosses r&B with Country is a game-changer. Hunt brings a whole new sound to the genre and appeals to the younger audiences who like hip-hop/R&B while keeping the music clean. He's a complete genius. What's your favorite movie? My all-time favorite movie is The Godfather. Even though they are criminals, I find myself caring for the Corleone family and wanting them to succeed. When a writer/filmmaker can make you like the villain, that's awesome storytelling. Comments are closed.
