National Red Ribbon Week is designed to promote students to live a drug free life. Through positive activities and dress up days, the junior high student council collaborated with mentoring classes to develop positive relationships and memories. Students dress up days included: USA day, favorite sports team day, twin day, Duct tape day, and class color day. Games played included Heads/Tails, kick ball, and three legged races. Daily winners were given "stars" to display on their lockers. Every student received five items to remind them "Your Future is Key: stay Drug Free": all items included the Red Ribbon monogram (pencil, coin, sticker, bookmark, and tattoo).
The Junior High Student Council would like to express their gratitude to the mentoring teachers and Mr. Campbell for judging and encouraging participation in each days activities. Comments are closed.
