Ridgeview High School’s Annual Food Drive was HUGE SUCCESS! On Friday December 14th, the Ridgeview High School students ended the Annual Food Drive with the Winter Wonder Can competition. Each of our mentoring classes have been preparing since before Thanksgiving to compete in this year’s event. We had 21 classes build a Winter Wonder Can Display with the items they donated for the Colfax Food Pantry. This year the students demolished last years’ item total by over 2100 items. They collected 5409 items this year. We would like to thank all that helped donate to this year’s food drive . The winners of the Contest were as follows: Most items from a High School Class : Mr. Owsley ( 304 items) Most items from Junior High Class: Mr. Ruiz ( 844 items) Best Creativity in building High School : Mr. Leinweber Best Creativity in building Junior High: Mrs. Kennedy Best Over All: Mr. Ruiz Final Projects: Under Construction: Comments are closed.
