Hello Ridgeview!
The members of STEM Club are happy to announce that there will be a 3D printing shop open to both teachers and highschoolers!
Please read through the following procedures and guidelines before placing an order.
Information
HOURS
Students can place and pick up orders in Room 124 during 9th hour only.
You may place an order online by filling out the order form above IF you have chosen a STL file from thingiverse.com
PRICE
Base price $3.00 plus per gram price
Labor for design 0.50 cents per hour
STANDARD COLORS: 0.10 cents per gram
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, tan, white, black, grey, warm grey
DELUXE COLORS: 0.15 cents per gram
translucent (red, orange, yellow, purple, blue)
neon (pink, orange, green)
various (ocean blue, brown, khaki)
DESIGN
prints must be school appropriate, reasonable and within the printers limitations (7"x6"x6" max)
school related printing takes priority over 3D shop printing
no guarantees on timeline - only estimates
first come, first serve
only one design per person at a time
submit an STL file or make a special design request
custom designs fees vary based on complexity & time needed to design
STL files can be found on thingiverse.com
TIME
STL FILES:
Submit design link thru google form.
Shop will prepare and optimize the design for printing.
You will receive an email with the price of your print.
After payment is received, your print will be added to the list.
Once your order is complete, you will receive an email to pick up during business hours.
CUSTOM DESIGNS:
Visit the shop during business hours to discuss design.
The shop will design the print and email proof.
Visit the shop during business hours to approve design.
Once design is approved, the shop will create a file.
You will receive an email with the price of your print.
After payment is received, your print will be added to the list.
Once your order is complete, you will receive an email to pick up during business hours.
