This year we'd like to try something a little different. Once a month, we'd like to meet with a group of students to get opinions and learn more about things from your perspective. We're calling these meetings a "Principal's Roundtable". We plan on selecting two to three students from each grade level and varying those choices when possible. These meetings will take place on the first available Thursday of the month during activity period in the media center, which means the first meeting will be Thursday, November 13th. If you have any interest in taking part in one or more of these meetings over the school year, please fill out the form sent to your school email.
Attention all HS Student Council members. If you went on the field trip last week to the Jostens Student Conference at Tri Valley, you will have a meeting in Mrs. Schultz's room today (Monday) during 9th hour!!! Check in with your teacher for attendance and then head to Mrs. Schultz's room for the meeting.
Be sure to take home or put away all items on top of the lockers. Starting today items left on the lockers will be removed at the end of the day.
PARKING - if you have not paid for or been assigned a parking spot by me, then you need to park in the gravel parking lot. ALL the parking spots have been assigned and paid for. When you start parking in someone else’s spot it starts a domino effect and then it causes problems. So, again - if you don’t have an assigned spot, then park in the gravel lot. ALSO - If you don’t know or remember your spot number - then stop in the office and we will tell you.
The Mustangs will play in the first round of football playoffs on Saturday, November 1st at Sterling High School vs Sterling Newman Catholic - the game will kickoff at 1pm - tickets are $8 at the door.
Today in sports - The Varsity Volleyball team will take the floor at 7:00pm tonight against Roanoke-Benson in the 1st round of Regionals. The Mustangs host Regionals all week.
The JH Girls basketball team will host Blue Ridge tonight starting at 5:30pm
UPCOMING MEETINGS:
Any JH Girls that are seriously interested in playing volleyball this season please come to a meeting in Mr. Kennedy’s room at 12:15 today (Tues) - so after you finish eating lunch head to Mr. Kennedy’s room to sign up.

Atten Juniors: I f you are interested in graduating early next year, please schedule a meeting with Ms. Winterland by the end of November 2025 to discuss your options and eligibility.
