UPCOMING MEETINGS:

There will be a JH Volleyball meeting for any 6th-8th grader interested today, during 9th hour in the Gym.  

There will be a quick 15 minute meeting for anyone interested in High School Softball for the upcoming season on Thursday Sept. 29th at 2:40 PM in Mr. Kennedy's room.  If you cannot make it or have any questions please contact Coach Doll via email.

Attn JH Softball team:  Your award party will be this Thursday during lunch in Mr. Kennedy’s room.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER: 

Check your emails! Mr. Taylor has been sending out emails pertaining to grades as well as progress in Spanish and Edmentum. He will be sending out "grade check" emails weekly so keep an eye out.

Seniors - Mr. Taylor has created a Google classroom and added all of you to it. Be sure to accept his invite so you stay up to date on Scholarship opportunities, testing information and anything else that is important for seniors. 

Attention seniors and juniors.  College and University representatives are beginning their high school visits.  We have the following schools scheduled here at Ridgeview.   

Heartland College will be here Wednesday, October 5th at 11:45

Illinois Wesleyan will be here Wednesday, October 5th at 2:30

The University of Illinois will be here Thursday, October 6th at 2:30

Parkland College will be here Thursday, October 20th at 2:30

See Mr. Quinn or Mr. Taylor to sign up for any of these visits.

Heartland Community College will be hosting a McClean County Regional College Fair.  Representatives from over 70 colleges and universities in the midwest will be present.  It takes place on Tuesday, October 4th, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.  at Heartland College in Normal.  This would be a very valuable event for any senior thinking about college.  Juniors may also want to consider attending.
