Project Overview
Forward progress continues on the Ridgeview facility project. Over the last month, our teams have reached several key milestones as we move from the planning stages toward construction. We remain committed to keeping our community informed as we transform our campus.
Construction Phases Update
To ensure maximum efficiency and safety, we continue to progress through our three-stage project plan:
Phase I: New Parking Lot (May–July 2026) This portion of the project has been officially bid and awarded to Kemper Construction, Inc.. Following a few weeks of final planning, construction is slated to begin in mid-May and conclude by mid-July. This new lot will add approximately 25-30 spaces to the east side of the school building, which will be vital for maintaining parking access once work begins on the new addition.
Phase II: High School Addition (Late Summer 2026) We have successfully completed the Design Development stage and are moving into Construction Documentation. This means our overall design is now firm. We remain on target to bid this phase in the coming months and plan to break ground in late summer.
Phase III: Renovation & Integration (Summer 2027) Planning for our final phase remains on track. This stage will focus on unifying new and existing spaces through system upgrades, such as HVAC, lighting, and security enhancements, and aesthetic refreshes.
Navigating Changes
As we have previously shared, a project of this magnitude is bound to create changes to our normal routines, including traffic patterns and building access. While we do not anticipate a major impact on our daily schedule during Phase I, we are proactively planning for the disruptions expected during Phase II.
Our team is currently "digging deeper" into these logistical adjustments to formulate the best possible plan for our students and staff. Please look for detailed communication regarding these changes by this coming summer.
