Due to driver shortages tonight (11/7) we have had to combine a few afterschool routes. The routes impacted are #25 (Brian), #29 (JC), and # 32 (Marci). Drop off times, order, and bus driver may be different than other nights. We should be back to regular schedule by tomorrow morning. Please contact your child's school if you have any questions. Thank you for your cooperation and patience, Mr. Young

Check out our new school charter! A charter is an agreement we make to act in ways that help us feel the way we want to feel in our school. Everyone had a voice in creating our charter! Watch your student's backpack for an informational letter!

Retake Picture Day is 11/14/2023! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required. If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook. Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 80120XF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account.

Mr. Hutley was recently recognized by the Illinois Principals Association for his involvement in the School Leader Network (third from right). The cohort was designed to support principals in their professional development as school leaders. He was one of six principals in the State to complete this training! Thank you to Mr. Hutley for going above and beyond to improve Ridgeview Schools!

Ridgeview Community, It is with deep sadness that I inform you about a tragic accident that has resulted in a significant loss in our schools and in our community. Today (Saturday), a student passed away after being involved in an accident. Our district is committed to doing everything we can to help our students with the grieving and healing process. To that end, we have activated our crisis counseling team to be at our schools tomorrow (Sunday) from 12:00pm to 3:00pm in the Media Center. Loss like this can impact everyone in our school family and in the Ridgeview Community. Students may have a difficult time dealing with the loss, and we encourage you to talk with your child. At this time, the district will not be releasing the name of the student out of respect for the privacy of the families. Please continue to keep these families and students in your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate your continued support of our students. Sincerely, Erik Young Superintendent Ridgeview C.U.S.D. #19
