G day stands for Green Day in 1st grade. Everyone wore some kind of green today!!
This afternoon we scheduled a fire drill for 1:15PM. Unfortunately, our fire alarm activated at approximately 12:30PM. This prompted the quick evacuation of our buildings. The fire department responded and thoroughly checked the building, finding no signs of fire. We were given the all clear to return to the building at approximately 1:15PM. Thank you to our students and staff for their patience during this process. Additionally, thank you to the Colfax and Cooksville Fire Department for their quick response and help!

F is for dress fancy! We have a Michael Jackson and a principal in our room today. There are so many good looking boys and girls in our classroom today. What a fun day to be in 1st grade!

Students had an incredible day on Friday celebrating Earth Day! They created seed growing necklaces, a garden in a glove, a sample water cycle, and so much more. Thanks to all of the teachers and volunteers from STANGS who helped make this day so great!
1st grade started counting down to the last day of school yesterday with A being stuffed animal day. Today for B day, we wore our beach attire and are hoping for some warmer weather soon!!
