It has been an incredible Homecoming Week! Our staff brought some magic to the hallways today, proving that when it comes to a great education, 'you've got a friend in me.' It's an example of how we are creating another amazing "Ridgeview Story" for our students! ✨🏰

Kindergarten started watercolor painting Vincent Van Gogh's "Sunflowers."These will definitely be in this year's Spark Fest towards the end of the school year. Painting is fun!

Have you ever heard of Henri Rousseau? This is an oil painting (1897) called "The Sleeping Gypsy." Mrs Hoffert's 5th grade classes practiced their writing skills by creating a short story about what could be happening in this painting. We definitely reviewed adjectives.

Ridgeview Pre-K enjoyed a Puzzles with Parents Family Fun Night! The families enjoyed dinner, puzzles, family and friend building time.
Puzzles are a great way to build fine motor skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and to develop visual-spatial awareness.

Week 2 of seeing and recognizing our outstanding Mustang students! We are proud and thankful for how you each make our school amazing!

The Building Trades class has been working on several projects this fall. So far, they’ve worked on some cabinetry, mounted some boards in concrete walls for band tubas and our State Track pics to go up, and replaced the rail ties in the shot put area. More projects coming soon!

Third grade artists have been making a mess in art class using chalk. They have been learning about color blending and organic shapes.

Homecoming is just around the corner! Dress up day flyers went home Monday but Marshall wants to invite anyone who doesn't have a costume for duo/trio day to match him! Bring out the blue-black-and white!

Kindergarten loves practicing their letters!

Takashi Murakami is a Japanese artist who developed his own style in art history called SUPER FLAT. The first project for K-5 was a collaborative piece for the hallway bulletin board. Art minds are blooming folks!

All feelings welcome! Nervous, sad, sleepy or happy--Marshall picks up on how his students are feeling and gets to work! Marshall has a way of helping--no matter how you are feeling!

Mrs. McCarty's 2nd grade class is loving a new partner game to practice reading short vowel words!

Starting the year off with amazing character! We are beyond proud of these students who help make and keep our caring and respectful school environment--it takes all of us!

Officer Ben came in to talk to 1st grade about his job and what it's like to be a Police officer. He ever showed everyone how his handcuffs work on Mrs. Langhoff!!

Happy Mustang Friday from our kindergarten friends!
