Market Day 2026! The 4th grade students opened their storefronts for staff and students in 3rd and 5th grades to come and shop their constructed items. It was a huge success with so much creativity!

Construction is scheduled to begin on a new parking lot on Harrison Street, located directly across from the Elementary School entrance. Work will commence on Monday, May 11th, with an estimated completion date of mid-July.
Traffic & Safety Expectations While we anticipate a minimal impact on overall traffic flow, please be mindful of the following:
Heavy Equipment: Be alert for construction vehicles and machinery entering and exiting the site throughout the day.
School Commute: Exercise extra caution when entering/exiting the current Elementary School parking lot and while traveling along Harrison Street.
Site Awareness: For the safety of all, please stay clear of the fenced construction zone.
Work Hours Crews will typically be on-site from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to improve our school facilities. If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact the Ridgeview District Office at (309) 723-5111.

April was a month of high competition! While we saw one class nearly sweep the entire month, we love seeing different groups step up to show off their Mustang Pride. 🐎🏆
Our April Hallway Heroes:
🌟 Mr. Mitchell – 3-Time April Winner! First class to earn the headband!
🌟 Mrs. Caldwell – Earning the cape!
It’s not easy to maintain "Hero Status" during the spring, but these students made it look easy.
Only 3 weeks left in the school year! Who is going to finish the year as our final Hallway Heroes?

Don't forget Family Reading Night--this Thursday 6-7! Parent participation/supervision needed---but no RSVP needed!

The United Way coin drive started today, May 4th and runs through Friday, May 8th! Ridgeview Elementary is working together to meet our school goal of $250. Have your students bring in their spare change to their classroom teacher. The winning class earns a pizza party lunch!

Grades go on report cards, but kindness stays in peoples hearts---
With the end of the year approaching we are thankful for those who take time to share kindness!

Spark Fest is next week. Be sure to come and check out all of the art work!
