Good Morning!
Just a heads up - buses may be running a little behind schedule today. Remember to bundle up. It's going to be cold today.
Mr. Young

Welcome Back!
I just wanted to share a couple reminders prior to school restarting tomorrow (Monday 1/3/22).
-Tomorrow will be a full day of school - 8:15am-3:05pm.
- The temperature tomorrow is expected to be cold. Please make sure students are dressed appropriately for the weather.
-We are still awaiting guidance on how the recent changes in quarantine released last week by the CDC (and adopted by IDPH) will impact schools. As of right now, we will still be following all the same guidelines in place prior to break.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone back tomorrow!
Mr. Young

I hope everyone has a great break and look forward to seeing everyone again next week. We are still having supply chain issues so for January we will continue to post the menu for a week at a time, I am attaching the menu for the upcoming week.

If you have a student riding a different bus or in preschool, please stay tuned. Invites will be sent out soon.
As always, have a great weekend! If you have any questions feel free to contact me in the Unit Office.

Congratulations to the 2nd hour PE class for winning the 16th Annual German Kickball Tournament.

This month we are only doing menus a week at a time. We are still having supply chain issues so it is simpler to menu a week at a time when I can see what we are actually able to get in.

The 7th Grade Girls are Regional Champions! They defeated Corpus Christi 26-10. Great Job Girls!

My name is Jeremy Miller. I'm the new science teacher at Ridgeview Jr. High and am the assistant coach of the High School/Junior high wrestling team. I wrestled throughout junior high and high school and have been coaching for seven years. Wrestling is a fantastic sport that is often overlooked and it provides developing kids with opportunities to build physical/mental strength, confidence, and it gives many kids a strong sense of belonging during the shaky years of young adulthood.
If you think your child (Grades 5-8) would be interested in joining wrestling this year, we are having a short, 30-minute parent meeting tonight through ZOOM @ 8:00. I encourage you to join in with your child to get some basic information about the sport of wrestling, the 2021-2022 wrestling season, and to answer any questions you may have. Even if your child is slightly interested, please show up to check it out.
Thanks
Jeremy

Spencer Oil offered to sponsor the Fan Bus this weekend. Thank you for this generous offer! Any student who already paid, will be given a refund. Go Mustangs!

Good Afternoon,
On Monday November 22nd, we are adjusting a few of our bus routes for the PM routes only.
On Monday PM only, students riding Bus #24 (JC’s Bus), will be dropped off by a different bus. Students will be dropped off by Bus #23 (Dena’s Bus), Bus #22 (Marci’s Bus), or Bus #20 (Chuck’s Bus). Drop off times and number of riders may be effected for students on these routes. This will be similar to the route change we made previously in the school year.
Again, this is only the PM routes on Monday. The AM routes will be as normal. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
