Best of luck to the Ridgeview-Lexington wrestlers and Coaches today at the IESA State Tournament!

Ridgeview Baseball Camp is Saturday, April 12th - this event is being put on by the High School Baseball Team and they want everyone from Kindergarten thru 5th grade to come and learn more about baseball. Registration is just $20 which includes a camp t-shirt if you are registered by March 31st. Flyers are being sent home with all Ridgeview Elementary students.

The Ridgeview Annual Blood Drive is 1 week away on March 11th in the HS gym from 11am to 5pm. We are still in need of donors. Please help us save lives!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Ridgeview Spring Musical. They gave two amazing performances of Little Shop of Horrors!

Congrats to these two individuals on qualifying for the IESA State Wrestling Tournament next weekend in DeKalb. Best of luck to Ashtyn and Sawyer!

Ridgeview Parents,
We could use your help. This evening a suspicious email was sent to emails in the @ridgeview19.org domain.
The email came from smeints@ridgeview19.org
Regarding job opportunities. This e-mail is not legitimate.
Please have your child go into their school email and if they received the email have them delete it. Do not interact with the email.
If your child did interact with this email, please email me:
eyoung@ridgeview19.org
I will need your child's name/email address to forward to our IT department.
Thank you for your help and have a great weekend!
Mr. Young

Good Morning,
Here is an update on today's activities.
The HS Girls Basketball game will now be played at Lexington HS at 1pm. Reminder this is an IHSA regional game, so no passes will be honored.
The HS Boys Basketball game has been postponed. A make up date will be communicated in the coming days.
The Princess Ball scheduled for this evening has been rescheduled for tomorrow from 2-4pm at the elementary school (so long as water has been restored).
Thank you again for your patience and understanding!
Mr. Young

Good Morning ,
At this time the Village of Colfax has experienced a water main break, resulting in there being no water throughout the entire village.
As a result the school building is closed to use. We will be communicating in the coming hours any scheduling changes that may be necessary for events and activities today.
Thank you for your understanding!
Mr. Young

Good Morning,
Ridgeview Schools are in session today (Thursday 2/13). Please dress warm and use caution on your way to school. Buses may be running a little behind schedule today.
Thank you for your patience!
Mr. Young

Good Afternoon,
Due to the forecasted adverse weather for tomorrow, Ridgeview schools will implement an E-Learning Day tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12th. We are making this decision early to allow families time to plan. Teachers will reach out to students through our digital platforms to provide them with information on class expectations.
All before school, after school, and evening practices and events are cancelled for tomorrow.
We will continue to monitor the weather for any potential impacts on Thursday and will provide updates as needed.
Stay safe and warm, and have a great evening!
Mr. Young

Congratulations to Mrs. Lauren Schuler and the Junior High Book Club on being chosen as a PNC grant recipient. Mustangs Reading Out the Margins were awarded $750 to help continue hosting the annual Junior High Book Club. We are lucky to have Mrs. Schuler and appreciate her extra efforts to encourage students to read.

Best of luck to the Lexington-Ridgeview Comp Cheerleading team today as they perform today at 11:15 am in the IHSA State Series!!

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Michelle Schultz. She received special recognition from ROE 17 for her outstanding work at Ridgeview CUSD 19 in school spirit. Mrs. Schultz serves as the High School student council sponsor and heads up the staff spirit committee. If Ridgeview staff and students participate in anything related to 'school spirit,' Mrs. Schultz probably had a hand in planning it.
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Schultz. We are thankful to have her on the Mustang staff.

Ridgeview Families,
We will be in session today (Thursday, February 6). However, please use caution this morning. There are slick areas, even if they don't appear to be slick. Be aware our buses may be running slower than usual this morning.
As a reminder - today is also a scheduled 2:05pm dismissal, and there is no school tomorrow (Friday).
Thank you for your support of Ridgeview Schools, and have a great day!
Mr. Young
