As we welcome the summer season and the increased use of bicycles and electric scooters, we kindly remind everyone to prioritize safety when traveling through our school district property.
🚸 Please SLOW DOWN and be mindful of our students, staff, visitors, and others using our facilities.
✅ Stay Alert: Keep an eye out for pedestrians and vehicles, especially near crosswalks, entrances, and parking lots.
✅ Speed Limits: Adhere to the posted speed limits and slow down on school property and in school zones.
✅ Respectful Riding: Share the pathways and sidewalks responsibly and keep bicycles and scooters off the track.
Together, we can ensure a safe environment for everyone. Let's make our community a safer place for all!
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to safety.
#SafetyFirst #SlowDown #SchoolSafety 🚸
Have a great summer!
Mr. Young

Dear Ridgeview School District Parents and Guardians,
We wanted to inform you of an important change to our schedule that will occur on May 3rd, 2024.
Due to unforeseen circumstances in the Lexington school district, Ridgeview was asked to host the Class 1A IESA Sectional Track Meet for Lexington on our campus. We work with Lexington in a number of capacities, including cooperative agreements with multiple athletic teams. In order to accommodate this event and support another local school district in need, we will dismiss school early at 1:45pm on Friday, May 3, 2024. This will allow enough time for our students and staff to dismiss, prior to the track meet beginning. Buses would run approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes earlier than normal.
We understand that this change may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Your flexibility and support are invaluable as we work to ensure the success of this event and the opportunities it presents for both Ridgeview and Lexington students.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the early dismissal or the track meet, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to assist you in any way we can.
Thank you once again for your understanding and support of Ridgeview Schools!
Erik Young
Superintendent
