Date: Friday February 2, 2024 Performance Time: 12:50 PM Top 10 announced at ~1:15 PM (Top 10 advance to Saturday) Location: Grossinger Motors Arena 101 S Madison St, Bloomington, IL 61701 Please note the following in regards to the event venue: Bag Checks: Grossinger Motors Arena has a bag check and metal detector policy for patrons. A complete list of event policies is available at the following web address: https://www.grossingermotorsarena.com/guest-services/a-z-guide Please communicate this to fans so they plan additional time to enter the Arena. No outside food or beverages may be brought inside the Arena. For Patrons Only there is a clear bag policy. All afternoon and evening events have been postponed/cancelled for today (1/23). Roads are improving, but keeping everyone safe is most important. Coaches/Sponsors will be communicating schedule changes via TeamReach. Rescheduled game times will be posted when they are confirmed. Mr. Young

Good Evening, Due to forecasted icy conditions to continue throughout the night, Ridgeview Schools will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23. This decision is being made early to allow families time to plan. Tomorrow will be a traditional Snow Day - students will not have any class requirements. A decision on afternoon and evening activities will be made tomorrow. Stay Safe! Mr. Young

HS Girls Var Bball will now play on 1-23-24 @ GCMS start time 5:30 followed by the Var Boys. No JV girls or boys bball games tomorrow. HS Wrestling no make up date at this time. JH Volleyball no make up date at this time.

JH wrestling in action tonight vs GCMS and Eureka!!

7th grade volleyball looses in 2 to PC and the 8th grade team storms back with a late rally to win in 3 sets!

HS Wrestling is cancelled for tonight. JH Volleyball vs PC is still on for a 5 pm start 8th grade boys basketball is still a go at Corpus 6:30 pm start

JH Volleyball action today had the 7th grade loosing in 2 and the 8th grade loosing a 3 set thriller to visiting EPG today. Great effort by both groups.

Ridgeview CUSD #19, Ridgeview CUSD #19 will NOT be in session for Tuesday, January 16th due to windchills forecasted to be below -20° during the morning hours. We will instead be utilizing an E-Learning Day tomorrow. Students should check their classroom platforms for communication from their teacher of the days expectations. It is anticipated the wind chill warnings will be lifted midday tomorrow and we hope to allow for evening events if safe to do so. Final determination on evening practices and contests will be made by midday tomorrow. Activities for the remainder of today will proceed. December 21, 2023 Dear parents/guardians, Today, we were made aware of an alleged threat of violence against the school posted to social media. We immediately involved our School Resource Officer, who was already onsite, to investigate the incident. Out of an abundance of caution we also involved the McLean County Sheriff’s Department, and kept all students and staff indoors. Law enforcement identified and contained the source of the alleged threat and assured us that at no time were our students or staff in danger. We have been assured by law enforcement that students and staff are safe to attend school and that there is no ongoing threat from this situation. Please do not be alarmed by the additional visibility of law enforcement and our School Resource Officer tomorrow as student and staff safety is our top priority. I want to thank the Colfax Police Department, the McLean County Sheriff’s Office, and everyone who had a part in quickly resolving this situation.
