4th grade artists are studying Ugo Rondinone. He has a colorful boulder sculpture (7 Magic Mountains ) in the Mojave desert near Las Vegas, Nevada. You can see the students are really getting into color mixing and Model Magic molding. Come see the Mustang Mountains during Spark Fest on May 8.

Color mixing with model magic air dry clay.
I’m making orange .
Molding clay into mini “boulders”.
One completed sculpture.
Artists in 5th grade are learning about John Chamberlain. He makes sculptures from crushed car parts and/or aluminum foil. The students think getting their foil sculptures to stand upright is difficult. They are excited to show their families these cool sculptures during Spark Fest!
