Last week, Ridgeview Elementary hosted author & illustrator, Marty Kelley! Students and staff alike enjoyed learning about his writing and illustration process. His message to the students was to stay motivated and find something you love doing in life, and to keep working at it! For weeks leading up to the visit, students had been preparing artwork and character displays, reading a variety of his books, and building their excitement. We all had such a fun experience! If you are interested in ordering a personalized copy of Marty Kelley's book(s), please return your child's order form to school by May 9th.

This is a reminder we will be dismissing at 1:45pm this Friday, May 3. This information was sent out previously, but we were made aware it may not have reached everyone. More information on the reason behind the early dismissal is posted on our website. This day will count as a full day of student attendance, so it does not impact our calendar. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office. Thank you for your support of Ridgeview Schools and have a great day! Mr. Young

Did you know reading to facility dogs can help improve reading skills, increase reading motivation, and reduce reading anxiety? It can also help with reading accuracy, fluency and comprehension! Marshall loves a good book!
