Hello Ridgeview Families! Next week the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Ridgeview student’s will be starting our annual Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) and Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) testing. All students will need the following things: (Headphones, Charged Chromebook, Great night's sleep, and a Positive can-do attitude!) Student’s will have the opportunity to earn prize tickets on testing days. Those tickets then will go into a container for their specific grade level and names will be drawn randomly for a chance to win some mystery test prizes. Each student can earn two tickets daily by doing the following two things: (1) Being PREPARED (headphones, Chromebook charged) and (2) Giving their BEST effort! (following directions, not talking, etc…). The testing sessions will go as follows: Monday, April 8th (5th ONLY will test on ISA Session 1 and Session 2); Friday, April 12th (5th ONLY will test on ISA Session 3); Tuesday, April 9th (3rd, 4th, 5th will test on Math Unit 1 and ELA Unit 1); Wednesday, April 10th (3rd, 4th, 5th will test on Math Unit 2 and ELA Unit 2); Thursday, April 11th (3rd, 4th, 5th will test on Math Unit 3)

These students recruited someone to donate blood at our annual blood drive and became part of the American Red Cross Future Blood Donors. If the person they recruited came and donated blood at the blood drive, the student recruiter received a special gift from the American Red Cross.
