Dear Ridgeview Parents/Guardians,
We are excited to announce that Apptegy Rooms, our newest communication tool for our district, should be up and running! We've been piloting this system, and it has proven to be a secure and easy way for Ridgeview staff, students, and families to communicate via app based messaging.
Apptegy Rooms works through our official Ridgeview app, bringing all your messages into one secure location.
If you do not have our Ridgeview app on your mobile device, just search your app store for Ridgeview Mustangs and look for the single Mustang!
Below is a helpful resources for getting started with this new tool:

Btay@ridgeview19.org or
tdonaldson@ridgeview19.orgDear Parent or Guardian:
During the week of October 29th thru November 4th, our PE classes will be participating in the SkateTime Skating Program. The skates will be delivered directly to the school and used in our gym.
This skating unit is being implemented for its emphasis as a “Lifetime Activity”. Skating provides a variety of benefits, which include balance, coordination, motor skills, and a top rated cardio respiratory work out. Students will learn safety tips and basic skating skills such as starting, stopping, forward skating, backward skating and cornering. Skating can be dangerous even though this is a supervised activity; anytime students are physically active an injury may occur.
This year all K - 5th grade students will be $5 and 6th/7th grade students will be $10 The permission slip must be turned in before your child will be allowed to skate. Deadline for submitting the form is Wednesday, October 15th. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Ludwig at
dludwig@ridgeview19.org. Please log into Family Access to pay the skating fees.

📚✨ Parents, don’t forget to ask your child what they’re reading and writing about at school! Our students are exploring high-quality texts and practicing phonics skills to grow into confident, skilled readers. 💡 A quick conversation at home can help build their excitement and strengthen learning. #RidgeviewReads #KnowledgeIsPower

It has been an incredible Homecoming Week! Our staff brought some magic to the hallways today, proving that when it comes to a great education, 'you've got a friend in me.' It's an example of how we are creating another amazing "Ridgeview Story" for our students! ✨🏰

Kindergarten started watercolor painting Vincent Van Gogh's "Sunflowers."These will definitely be in this year's Spark Fest towards the end of the school year. Painting is fun!

Have you ever heard of Henri Rousseau? This is an oil painting (1897) called "The Sleeping Gypsy." Mrs Hoffert's 5th grade classes practiced their writing skills by creating a short story about what could be happening in this painting. We definitely reviewed adjectives.

Ridgeview Pre-K enjoyed a Puzzles with Parents Family Fun Night! The families enjoyed dinner, puzzles, family and friend building time.
Puzzles are a great way to build fine motor skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and to develop visual-spatial awareness.

The Building Trades class has been working on several projects this fall. So far, they’ve worked on some cabinetry, mounted some boards in concrete walls for band tubas and our State Track pics to go up, and replaced the rail ties in the shot put area. More projects coming soon!
