Thinkfast Interactive Assembly (more pictures)
Thinkfast Interactive came to Ridgeview on Thursday, May 20th to talk about all things driving related with students grade 9-11. We are very thankful that this teen driver safety program was able to come to Ridgeview and educate our students.
ThinkFast Interactive is an evidence-informed program that was originally developed in 1997 as a fun, innovative, and experiential entertainment program that would non-intrusively expose participants to important educational information about a custom safety awareness topic chosen by program sponsors, such as the consequences of underage drinking, substance misuse and abuse, bullying prevention, traffic safety promotion, and healthy relationship skills.

This afternoon we scheduled a fire drill for 1:15PM. Unfortunately, our fire alarm activated at approximately 12:30PM. This prompted the quick evacuation of our buildings. The fire department responded and thoroughly checked the building, finding no signs of fire. We were given the all clear to return to the building at approximately 1:15PM. Thank you to our students and staff for their patience during this process. Additionally, thank you to the Colfax and Cooksville Fire Department for their quick response and help!

I just wanted to share some of our 15 hour day yesterday! We had a great time boiling down our sap to get Maple Syrup!
During the long process, we had a few visitors, played some games, and talked!
Thank you to everyone that came and shared part of the day with us!
Results: BEST SYRUP EVER! We ended up only getting about a quart of syrup after 25 gallons of sap! It's all about the quality though :)
Note About Testing:
I have been getting this question recently and wanted to make sure parents are aware.
"What do I do if my student has a rapid test, BUT the testing provider says they are sending it off for a PCR test also?"
If your testing provider is requesting a PCR test your student MUST stay at home until they receive a negative PCR test, even if the rapid test returned with a negative result.
