
HS Wrestling Team Dual State Finals information is below:
-Masks are required in Grossinger Motors Arena
-Tickets are $9.00 per session.
-Tickets can be bought on GoFan or at the gate.
-Parking will be available around the arena and in the parking garage on Front and East Street.
-Ridgeview-Lexington will wrestle at 7:00 pm vs Yorkville Christian.


Congratulations to the Ridgeview-Lexington Wrestling team on winning the Sectional Title tonight over Prairie Central.
They advanced to Friday nights first round of the IHSA Team Dual State Finals. (Elite Eight).
They will wrestle again on Friday Feb. 25th at 7:00 pm vs Yorkville Christian at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.
Once we receive details from the IHSA regarding purchasing tickets, seating, parking, etc we will share it out.

Congrats to the HS Girls Basketball team on their sectional win over Mt. Pulaski tonight.
They will play St. Thomas More on Thursday Feb. 24th, 7:00 pm at Blue Ridge HS for the Sectional Championship!

Gerry Brooks was the speaker today for the HOIC professional development day. It was extremely entertaining and he reminded us of great lessons that made us go into education!




Due to current road conditions and increasing wind speeds later this evening that will cause blowing/drifting the following changes have been made to the athletic calendar for tonight:
IHSA Girls Regional Basketball 3pt Competition and Game scheduled to start at 5:30 tonight has been postponed to Saturday Feb. 19th. 3pt Competition will start at 2:30 followed by the Championship game at 4:00 pm. (Milford vs Ridgeview)
HS Boys Basketball game at Tremont for tonight has been postponed.

Ridgeview School buildings will remain closed tomorrow. Therefore, all activities scheduled during the day tomorrow are cancelled. A decision on evening activities will be made by tomorrow afternoon. Just a reminder, there is No School on Monday due to President's Day.

**IHSA HS Wrestling Individual State Tournament at the University of Illinois is still on schedule to start tomorrow as planned.**

This decision is being made early to allow families time to plan. All school activities and use of facilities are cancelled or postponed for tomorrow. Information regarding rescheduling events will be shared separately.
Teachers prepared students today and will be sharing information in classroom apps and platforms for learning expectations for tomorrow.
Just a reminder - there is No School Friday, due to Teachers Institute.

Congratulations to the Ridgeview-Lexington wrestling team on their Regional Championship Saturday. The team advances to Sections on Feb 22 in Tremont.
Congratulations to individual wrestlers; Danny Tay, Braydon Campbell, Payton Campbell, Evan Antonio and Gage Kelly for their advancement to the individual sectional. The boys will compete this Friday & Saturday at Olympia. Good Luck!

Good Afternoon,
Due to continued adverse weather and road conditions Ridgeview Schools will not be in session tomorrow, Friday, February 4. There is no class requirement or expectation tomorrow. High winds, drifting, and hazardous travel are expected throughout the night and into the morning. All activities this evening (Thursday) and tomorrow morning are cancelled. This decision is being made early to allow families time to plan.
A decision will be made by 3:00PM tomorrow regarding Friday evening activities.

Mr. Leinweber’s Anatomy & Physiology class got some messy hands-on experience with cow hearts and lungs this week! They paired nicely with the brand-new cardiovascular models, courtesy of the Ridgeview Education Foundation Grant. We ended the lab with an “Open-Heart” quiz where students pinned their answers on the hearts and used colored rods to show the oxygenation of blood in various areas.
