Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Michelle Schultz. She received special recognition from ROE 17 for her outstanding work at Ridgeview CUSD 19 in school spirit. Mrs. Schultz serves as the High School student council sponsor and heads up the staff spirit committee. If Ridgeview staff and students participate in anything related to 'school spirit,' Mrs. Schultz probably had a hand in planning it.
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Schultz. We are thankful to have her on the Mustang staff.

Ridgeview Families,
We will be in session today (Thursday, February 6). However, please use caution this morning. There are slick areas, even if they don't appear to be slick. Be aware our buses may be running slower than usual this morning.
As a reminder - today is also a scheduled 2:05pm dismissal, and there is no school tomorrow (Friday).
Thank you for your support of Ridgeview Schools, and have a great day!
Mr. Young

Senior Night for the HS Girls Basketball team is tomorrow night Feb. 6th vs Fisher. At 5:55 we will celebrate or Senior players. After they are introduced the warm up clock will be set for 15 minutes.
Hope to see everyone tomorrow night as we honor are girls basketball Seniors!

Ridgeview Families,
Due to the icy conditions forecasted for later this afternoon, Ridgeview schools will be dismissing at 1:30pm today.
Lunch will be served today and our buses will run their typical afternoon routes starting at 1:30pm.
All after school and evening practices and events are cancelled for today.
Stay safe and warm and have a great day!
Mr. Young

Good Morning Ridgeview Families,
Just a quick update. As of right now, there are no major schedule changes. It appears weather is shifting to later in the afternoon. If we did need to implement an early dismissal today, the goal would be to make that decision by 11:30am. Again, we will continue to monitor the weather and keep you updated of any changes.
Thanks!
Mr. Young

Dear Ridgeview Families,
We are closely monitoring and aware of the possibility of adverse winter weather returning for tomorrow. At this time, no decision has been made as the forecast continues to change. However, we want to ensure families are prepared for any potential changes to the school schedule. Depending on the timing and type of weather, adjustments to our day tomorrow may include any previously used changes (typical snow day or e-learning) or the possible use of an early dismissal (ex. dismissing at 1pm).
We encourage all families to take time to develop a contingency plan in case an early dismissal is necessary. This includes making arrangements for student pickup, childcare, and any other necessary preparations.
A final decision regarding the day and any schedule changes will be made tomorrow based on the latest weather updates. We will communicate any changes as soon as possible through our usual notification channels.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding,
Erik Young
Superintendent
Ridgeview CUSD #19

We partnered with WWPF to hold a cardiac screening event today! Just over 60 students were screened. We would like to thank our generous donors, Gibson Area Hospital and Peoples State Bank of Colfax. All screening fees were covered for students. We would also like to thank the GAH Elite ATs and other volunteers that made this event run so smoothly. The ISU MCN students were on site today as well, for their first clinical experience at the school.

We are just under a week away! The FFA drive-thru meal is this next Friday 02/07. If you are attending the Ridgeview/Fisher basketball game - stop by the Ag shop in the glass hallway OR if your wanting to pick up, just come thru the bus lane, no need to leave your vehicle. The meal consists of a delicious porkchop sandwich, chips and a cookie for only $8. What a great way to start off the weekend with a “no cook” Friday!!
As a bonus the FFA Alumni will be selling the AgMadness tickets! Get your tickets before they are all sold!!

Landscape Design students were donated a large number of Spider Plant babies. Students helped with cleaning up and propagating all of the babies. We can't wait to watch them root and grow new plants!🌱
